Westcourt Spearfishing Gear — Ocean Universal

Ocean Universal in Westcourt, Cairns has a solid spearfishing range. Not surprising — the store was originally Spearfishing Superstore, so spearo gear is in the DNA.

They carry rail spearguns, camo wetsuits, carbon and fibreglass fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and this site spearfishing accessories. Everything's suited to tropical spearfishing — not southern gear that wasn't made for FNQ.

The name changed to Ocean Universal because the business had already started stocking scuba and freediving equipment over the years. But the spearfishing range wasn't scaled down. It's still the backbone of the store.

The team are local spearos and know what works on the local reefs.
